I am happy to report the Betty Povelones has offered to take over as the corrdinator for Duplicate Bridge. I will still Direct and run the program when I am there but Betty will do the set up and take down. I know you all will help her just as you have me in the past.
I also want to remind everyone that we start at 12:30 so PLEASE be in the room ready to play by 12:20. Also I want to remind you to take conversations into the hall. Some of our voices are louder then others and we do not realize how loud it gets.
We also voted that if your cell rings during duplicate you will put 50 cents in the wish box. If you have an emergancy please put it on vibrate then excuse yourself from the table and take the call in the hall.
We also voted to charge no shows. There is no problem with scratching your name off the list (or having someone else do it) up until 12:00. After that each person will be charges $5 dollars as a no show. This will also be put in the wish box to be used for things for bridge. If anyone has a problem with that please bring it up at the next duplicate game. AND if you are going to play and did not put your name on the list you must arrive before 12:10. We need to be able to set up the game and tables so we can start playing at exactly 12:30.
